Buyer - Fruits and Vegetables💼
The challenge
Responsible for placing Purchase Orders (PO) for fruits and vegetables, ensuring daily supply according to operation windows, coordinating deliveries with suppliers, monitoring quality and availability, and conducting analyses to improve category performance.
Your challenges
Place PO considering cut-off times, availability, and product freshness.
Follow up daily deliveries and resolve shortages or rejections.
Monitor KPIs: OTIF, Fill Rate, shrinkage, quality, and lead time.
Conduct performance analysis by supplier and by product.
Coordinate sessions with suppliers to improve service levels.
Ensure compliance with quality and presentation specifications.
Identify risks due to seasonality, climate, or product variability.
You will be a great fit
1–3 years of experience in purchasing or sourcing F&V.
Knowledge of daily category operation (hours, cut-offs, windows).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Agribusiness or related field.
Advanced Excel and ERP management.
Experience working with perishable suppliers.
Analytical capacity and results-oriented.

Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, analysis).
Dashboard management (Power BI)
Basic forecasting and perishable inventory control.
