The challenge
As a Machine Learning Engineer I at Rappi, you will participate in the development and implementation of Machine Learning solutions that impact different products and functionalities of our SuperApp.
You will work closely with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to transform business problems into data-driven solutions. You will have the opportunity to participate in different stages of the model lifecycle: from data preparation and analysis, feature engineering, and experimentation, to model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring in production.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, who can progressively take on greater responsibility for the problems faced.
Your challenges
Analyze and prepare data for different Machine Learning problems.
Build features and datasets for training and evaluation.
Train, evaluate, and compare models under the guidance of other team members.
Design and execute experiments to understand model behavior.
Analyze results and propose improvements.
Participate in the integration of models within products and services.
Support model monitoring and investigation of production issues.
Write maintainable code, document experiments, and share learnings with the team.
Work alongside Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Managers to understand problems and requirements.
Continuously learn new techniques, tools, and best Machine Learning practices.

Experience: 1-3 years in similar roles
Education: University degree completed
English: Basic-intermediate
Previous experience in tech startups, e-commerce or marketplaces (desirable)
Experience in agile squads and remote-first environments (desirable)
