The challenge

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer Semi Senior / Senior with strong execution ability, systemic thinking, and technical judgment. A person capable of designing, building, and evolving scalable and reliable services, solving complex problems, working with distributed systems and high-impact integrations, and making decisions considering performance, resilience, maintainability, and user experience.
We want someone who not only implements solutions but also understands the problem, questions, proposes, and takes ownership of the outcome. Additionally, someone who leverages modern tools — including AI — to enhance their productivity, always maintaining judgment and ownership over what they build.
Your challenges
Design, develop and evolve backend services used by millions of users.
Solve highly complex technical problems and propose scalable and maintainable solutions.
Work on distributed systems and integrations with different platforms and teams.
Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.
Ensure software quality through testing, reviews, and engineering best practices.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production incidents or problems.
Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, and other teams to build high-impact solutions.
Identify opportunities for improvement in architecture, performance, reliability, and development processes.
Document technical decisions and share knowledge with the team.
Leverage modern tools, including AI, to improve productivity and efficiency.

Experience: 3+ years in similar roles
Education: Training in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
English: Intermediate-advanced (desirable)
Experience in startups, e-commerce, marketplaces, or high-growth companies.
Experience working with high-scale products.
Experience in agile squads and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in remote-first or distributed environments.
Experience with event-driven architectures.
Experience working with high-traffic systems.
Experience utilizing AI tools within the development cycle.
