Are you passionate about transforming inventory data into financial decisions?
The challenge
At Rappi we are looking for a Finance Junior Analyst to help us strengthen the financial control of our inventories. The challenge will be to transform large volumes of information into actionable analysis, reconciling data between WMS and SAP, identifying root causes of differences, monitoring losses, and participating in financial processes such as VNR, provisions, and closures. We are looking for someone who does not just generate reports, but questions the information, understands what lies behind the variations, and follows through with issues until their resolution.
Your challenges
Perform inventory reconciliations between SAP, WMS, and financial information sources.
Analyze differences related to income, transfers, sales, returns, adjustments, and shrinkage.
Investigate root causes of discrepancies and follow up until resolution.
Monitor shrinkage values and indicators, identifying deviations and main causes.
Prepare and update reports on known and unknown shrinkage.
Support the preparation and analysis of the shrinkage provision.
Prepare and update analyses of Net Realizable Value (NRV) and inventory impairment risks.
Support monthly financial close processes related to inventories and costs.
Analyze large volumes of information to identify trends, risks, and inconsistencies.
Prepare reports, reconciliations, and documentation for Finance, Accounting, and Auditing.
Follow up on action plans with Operations, Supply Chain, and Technology teams.
Propose improvements and automations to strengthen inventory controls.
Question the information and delve into variations, avoiding limiting oneself to merely executing reports.
You will be a great fit
